Note from the Pastor
Summer is here and the temperature proves it. Thankfully, the Lord gave the
insight and wisdom to man to produce cold air for comfort in high temperatures. We
can worship the Lord in the most comfortable settings which spoil us. May we be
reminded that no matter the setting, or the temperature God must remain a priority
within our hearts.
Our Neighborhood Bible Time was fantastic this year with 17 precious young
people trusting the Lord as their Savior. We had other decisions for Christ as some dedicated their lives
to the Lord and others needed assurance. Praise the Lord for the families that were reached through
this outreach ministry of our church. Several contacts for the week have promised to pay us a visit in
our regular worship services.
The days ahead are exciting as we look forward to another year at the Impact Youth Conference in
Gatlinburg, TN. Several men who have preached at Calvary will be preaching there and our young
people are excited, not to mention all the leaders too.

We are currently studying 1 Peter on Wednesday nights, and we are looking at what the Bible says
about the Design of the Church on Sunday nights. Please come and join us at any of our services. It is
a thrill as well to have some of the sermons online in audio if you get a chance to listen.
