Note from the Pastor

Our Missions Sunday was nothing short of eventful. On Friday evening the winter brought us about ten inches of snow that moved across the state. We had planned for a big day with missionaries coming from Georgia, Ohio, North Carolina, and Western Virginia. The weather hindered some of them from traveling and many of our own people from being able to get to church. Brother Jack Reiss preached some very timely messages in our services that challenged our hearts and encouraged our souls for the cause Christ in Missions. Although the weather seemed to be a problem the Lord once again proved to be faithful.
We are making preparations now for a spring Bible Conference that will center around the 50th anniversary of the churches existence. A different guest preacher for each service is scheduled for the week of March 14 through the 18th. Please mark your calendar for this special event in the history of the church. We pray you will attend and invite your friends and relatives to be a part of this most wonderful occasion.
Our doors are always open even when the weather is bad! We look forward to seeing you soon!
All for Him,
Pastor Ray Haskett
